I can’t reinstall my game!

So I’ve recently siwtched from xbox one to xbox one s (which is without a disc) and trough a harddrive installed the disc games onto my new one. Some worked and some didn’t. I tried deleting 2 games so far ( skullgirls with dlc characters and Mortal Kombat
11 with kombat pass 1) before noticing that i don’t “own” the games and can’t get then back. Is there any posibble way to get them back?

That wouldn't have an effect on disc based games.

Only if you buy them digitally or swap the disc-less One with one with a disc.

The games won't show as owned since you own them on disc, not digitally. You would have to purchase them digitally in order to play them without the disc. Otherwise, the disc has to be in the drive in order to verify you own the game which is not possible
without a disc drive.

You have to have the digital version of the game. If you have bought a retail copy you won't be able to play the games unfortunately.
