    I can't Redeem Minecraft Windows 1 Edition Beta


    Hello.

    I use Windows 10 64bit Home and I can't redeem Minecraft Windows 10 Edition Beta.

    I did everything right on the Website of Mojang (Created an account and linked my existing Minecraft account with it and then clicked to reddem the code.)

    But when I then get redirected to the Microsoft website where the code is supposed to be redeemed, I get this:

    Sorry, an unexpected error has occurred. The error has been recorded and we will investigate. Please try to redeem your code later.

    I also tried it through the Windows Store (over my account -> Redeem code) but I get the same error message.

    I tried it very often with both Chrome and the Edge browser, always resulting in this message.

    I also tried turning off my Firewall completely, but it didn't help.

    I have the CD-key but I can't redeem the game.

    Dear Xbox Support,

    when Microsoft released the new Minecraft windows 10 edition beta, Microsoft allowed free redeem codes for players who have the Java edition of Minecraft for a free windows 10 edition Minecraft. I received the redeem code and activated the code. When I opened
    the windows 10 store and tried to buy Minecraft windows 10 edition it kept crashing on me so I decided to restart my computer, after I did that the store was working again but for some reason my code did not work so I couldn't get Minecraft windows 10 edition.
    It said I already redeemed the code, yes I did but it showed it was unavailable in my account so i couldn't get Minecraft windows 10 edition beta.

    I could just buy the game and that will solve my problem, but to me I think it is unfair. I owned Minecraft Java edition when 1.7.10 was out and like I said before I got the code it just wont work. the windows store said "free for players who own Minecraft
    java edition." That is why I wont buy it since I should have gotten it for free.

    Hey there, SnappyBark0! Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition Beta is only available free for users that had the original Minecraft: PC (or Mac) Edition. If you only have the Minecraft: 360 Edition, you will not be able to get the Windows 10 Beta version for free.

    Looked through some of the help articles - man the information is confusing.

    Anyways from what I'm inferring from the posts is that you can play Windows 10 to Windows 10, and Pocket Edition to Windows 10 and that's it right now.
