I can't recover my email which I played on with my xbox.

That's right NAFFRY, xbox support has confirmed this. On recovering my account, which i shouldn't have been able to do since they said they had locked it. Now i can't change my windows id password on my pc cos they want to send a reset to my old redundant
email address. Can i change the password on my xbox thus avoiding this issue with my old email address?

Doesn't anybody know a way to fix this? I can't recover my account, I've tried that, I even know the secret question but it's still not enough. The only solution I have left here is to change my email adress in my account but I have to be online for that
and that is impossible since my email can't be recovered.

If that's the case, that's ridiculous. I want to play minecraft multi-player on xbl, which I paid for both xbl and minecraft on my Xbox. But I can't play with my Playstation in the other room because they both are on my microsoft email. So I gotta put my son's microsoft email on the PS5 minecraft login and mine on the Xbox since xbl is exclusive to login email.... so lame.

clear system cache, turn off console then reset the hard drive and remove any external drives such as flash drives or memory cards, power the console back and try recover the gamertag again making sure that the HD is the selected storage device you are recovering
too

if this doesn't resolve the situation might need a call to XBL support to further troubleshoot the HD

I did try to recover on the new hard drive but I can't find the email associated with this gamertag but I'm almost positive I knew what it was becouse I looked at it every day but nothing works and its shorter than my normal email address which leads me
to believe that is misspelled or wrong
