    On the Xbox One I use to be able to record for up to two hours with the Game DVR. Now for some reason I can't record for more than two minutes. What gives?

    I usually only have a limit of 5 minutes. I don't think I would even want to record for that long because I like to trim my clips often.

    That isn't my issue. My issue is not being able to record gameplay for up to two hours on my Xbox console.

    I wasn't aware that we could ever record 2 hours on a console.

    Could you provide more information about when you could record for up to 2 hours, such as the console (original Xbox One, S, or X) and if you had any hard drives connected.

    Did you upgrade to a One X? After I did I am also only able to record up to 2 mins. On the Original One, I think you get up to 10 minutes. I've never heard of being able to record for a few hours.
