    I cant receive Xbox Gamebar invites


    Xbox Gamebar invites not showing up. I'm playing Sea of Thieves on Steam. When someone trying to invite me I cant receive the invite. My notifications on and my Xbox app and Windows up to date. I tried to reset Gamebar. I cant receive game invites but somehow friends notifications working.

    Does this happen to any of your friends or just to a specific user?

    Are you both on the same platform and launcher?

    Do you have the same game version?

    Is this happening only to Sea of Thieves and the rest of your games are working?

    Xbox Game Bar is not working

    I can open gamebar and record but i cant join a persons game when invited my gamebar freezes when i click join game or accept

    Windows 10 Xbox Companion App Not Receiving Party Invitations

    The same thing happened to me. Its annoying because the Xbox app beta and the new gamebar both are really clunky at handling party chat and game invites the way I'd prefer (xbox beta wants you to do some weird 1 on 1 only chat & has limited party support,
    gamebar doenst have multimonitor support and you cant just join parties/invites from the notification which is annoying). I hope windows isnt quietly phasing out the companion app because the newer options just do not stack up in really baffling ways.

    Game Invite sound in Windows even when the app is fully closed

    it comes through gamebar, open gamebar and you can adjust the notification there, or open setting and adjust notifications for certain times. gamebar runs all the time in the background and the only way to remove gamebar is via a shell command but then that messes up the invite system then.

    This happens to me too with game invites but theres a temporary fix i just reset my pc and i can only accept 1 invite before i have to reset it again. Kinda crazy how this has been happening for months and xbox support just tells me to reinstall gamebar,
    just patch the gamebar how hard is that to do?
