I can't receive party or game invites notifications on windows.

Verify Notification Settings:

Windows Settings:
Go to Settings > System > Notifications.
Under "Notifications from apps and other senders," ensure Xbox and Xbox Game Bar are turned On.

Xbox App:

Open the Xbox app.
Click on your profile icon > Settings > Notifications.
Enable Party invitations and Game invitations.

Xbox Game Bar:
Press Windows + G to open the Game Bar.
Click on the Settings icon (gear).
Go to Notifications and enable Party invitations and Game invitations.

Reinstall Xbox Apps:

Uninstall Xbox apps:
Open Settings > Apps > Apps & features.
Uninstall Xbox, Xbox Game Bar, and Xbox Companion App.
Reinstall from Microsoft Store:
Search for "Xbox" and install the latest versions of these apps.

Reset Xbox Game Bar:

Press Windows + I to open Settings.
Go to Apps > Apps & features.
Find Xbox Game Bar and click on Advanced options.
Click on Reset and confirm.

Check Focus Assist:

Click on the Action Center icon in the taskbar (bottom-right corner).
Make sure Focus assist is turned Off.

Update Windows and Drivers:

Go to Settings > Windows Update and check for updates.
Install any pending updates for Windows and drivers, especially graphics drivers.

Check Focus Assist

Click on the Action Center icon in the taskbar (bottom-right corner).
Make sure Focus assist is turned Off.

Adjust Firewall and Antivirus:

Temporarily disable your antivirus or firewall to see if it's interfering.
If notifications start working, add exceptions for Xbox apps in your security software.

Repair System Files:

Open Command Prompt as administrator.
Run the following command: sfc /scannow
This will scan and repair any corrupted system files

I think the party invite notification was removed and put on the Xbox Game bar instead, if you launch the game bar by pressing windows key and g, then goto settings - social, you should find an option to turn on notification for invites to party.

I've also lost the option for "Party Invites" on Windows 10 PC's Xbox Companion App. I've tried updating and resetting, but to no avail. I was receiving party invites through my computer a few days ago, and for some reason, it's completely stopped.
I assume it was the newest update they released. My mobile phone receives party invites, as well as has the option box to turn on or off the invitations.

What personally worked for me is the windows key + G, and going to the mini box "Xbox Social (Beta)". It should be sitting in the notification bell as (1). Although, It expires in a matter of seconds, as it usually would for me in the windows action center.

I'm sad that this was how I had to join my friend's party, and may have to continue to do this; or at least, until they add back the option to receive invites on the companion.

I can join parties and receive party invites just fine. The problem is the game invites. For example, I was trying to play Call of Duty: Warzone through a Looking For Group post. I join the party but then don't receive the game invite and can't invite
them to my game.

I noticed the same issue after a recent update to the app. There is simply no longer an option to receive party invite notifications in the notification settings of the app.
