I can't read what my friend writes in the chat

My friend uses Text-to-speech (text in chat read out loud to all other players in the lobby) to communicate in the game. So i tried myself for when my girlfriend is sleeping. I activated it in Xbox companion app. but in does not work. When I am writing
nothing happens, just the usual chat. Microsoft is not reading it out loud. Sorry if my english is bad i tried my best to explain it to you in english.

Reading on the booklet about the warranty, I read that the consolle never has to be moved horiz --> vert or vert --> horiz while it is turned on or with a disc inside of it... And I did it so my fear is that they don't repair it under warranty, they warned
us not to to that and I did it!

When I'm filling in the form for the repair booking, do I have to write in the comments sections what my problem really is or should I write only about the discs can't be read?

Yes, and no. What I suggest for xbox users at the moment is perhaps chat via Skype. It does seem a bit barmy that we can not , at present (if ever) chat with our 360 friends. I am unable to chat with my close friends now as they can't afford UNO.

Does XBLPelt read the whole chat? Have been thinking about wether it would make sense just to write another message in that chat explaining that the only issue here are my reading skills and they can discard the report.
