You can only use local currency on your console at this point in time.

Try purchasing from a different device. Let us know what the error is if that doesn't work. Provide as many details as possible.

Yes it shows when i confirmed order i just hope it doesnt charged me more than once iff it went through

Order History to see if it shows any recent charges for the controller.

Also, I would suggest to contact Live Support if the issue is still persisting. As they have the tools to review the account to make sure everything is good to go on the purchase.

every little detail has to match exactly with what is on file at the bank in order to allow use, might need to try pre paid xbox cards if credit cards are not working

Did you make sure to check in all of the locations listed in the above post? There's multiple locations where your billing information can be filled and it must all match exactly the same.

I just wanted to add that I'm having the same problem. I've already checked my info, my proofs are already up to date, I have more than enough $ in my Microsoft acct (I really can't put this type of stuff on a credit card except
for my XBox Live subscription, and it's already up to date) for what I want to DL, which is an avatar item John Cena outfit, and it hits me with a message saying it can't be authorized. Something is way off here ebcause this problemIstarted for me as well
after ms pts were turned into local currency.
