I can't play the EA catalog with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

With my Microsoft account, I can't access the EA games catalog with my account. The reason is as silly as it is problematic, EA prevents you from linking a new account if you already had another one connected.

The Xbox account that I had linked to my main EA is very old, and I am also deleting it. I connected it years and years ago I don't even remember which game anymore, but despite being an old and deleted disused account EA does not link the new account, I called support, wrote in chat, forums and social networks of EA and none can even give me an explanation!

I have read about many users with this problem. I believe that it can also be a problem for Microsoft because if EA actually prevents through this questionable policy from playing its catalog, the partnership with EA becomes useless.

Please since no one at EA has been able to help me I hope someone at Microsoft is reasonable and helps EA make it clear that they have to solve this problem!

Yep, that seems to be an EA Games thing that only makes sense to those running EA Games....it's not just limited to Microsoft XL accounts either

Unfortunately I don't have an Xbox to try, but maybe your suggestion may be helpful to someone else with this problem.

i just used an older ea game like burnout paradise to change the ea login, that broke the link on my sons older account. not sure if it can be done now but when you sign into an old ea game on xbox you have to also sign into and ea account and can change account within the game settings, sometimes that is.

It is something that does not make sense, because the first to lose are right in EA, if I cannot play the catalog of games on the Game Pass with my main accounts I will not try their games, I will not buy their games and DLCs accordingly, etc. ...

I tried on the EA forums, support, they don't even know why. I really think someone should report this.

If I may ask, what is the exact error or issue that you're experiencing?

Also, is this happening with just EA FC 25? Are you having issues playing the game online while having an active Xbox Game Pass Ultimate?

Please note that the EA FC 25 is not included in Xbox Game Pass or EA Play catalog.
