I can't play the campaign COD modern warfare (2019) digital

Hello, I have purchased COD modern warfare 2019 digital, I have installed and uninstalled it several times with all the ad-ons and I still cannot play the campaign mode and it tells me to buy the game.

Same issue here. As with the OP, I have been trying to launch the MW1 Campaign (Digital Copy). Whenever I load the game I'm shown the padlock icon on the MW side (right) and it always directs me to the **** Store to purchase the game. Somewhat frustrating since the 'File Info' in 'Manage game and add-ons' shows 'AcquiredDate: 18/04/2020 20:03:41'. Yes, I have been unsuccessfully trying to get the campaign to open (on & off) for over 3 years. The royale **** there is no issue with.



Each time I think it may be different I end up with the same result of not being able to launch the campaign.



Here are the steps I have tried.



• Initially, just could not get the campaign running, locked and directed me to the MS store

• Re-installed - no joy, purchase prompt

• Cleared cache, set up XB1X again, fresh download & reinstall - no joy, purchase prompt

• Later MWII came out, saw posts to launch the MWI Campaign through that launcher

• Multiple combinations with fresh installs and cache clearing - no joy, purchase prompt

• Since MWIII came out, was hopeful this issue may have been fixed...guess what?...that's right!!!....purchase prompt!!!!

• Tried in the first game and through the Legacy section of MWIII - no joy

• Cleared cache again, set up XB1X, fresh download & reinstall - no joy, purchase prompt





Some notes to hopefully avoid unnecessary questions seen in other posts:



• I have purchased many digital titles and have never faced this issue

• I don't have alternate profiles that purchase games nor is there an age issue

• I always download and install all add-ons available for MWI

• When checking installs on 'Manage game and add-ons' > everything is installed

• When checking 'Manage Installs' from the MWI Title Screen > only 'Multiplayer Pack' is missing 'Multiplayer Pack 2' along with everything else is installed.

• When clicking on 'Multiplayer Pack' an MS Store bubble attempts to open, only to close and a screen comes up showing 'Oops. Not sure what happened there. Please try again later.' I have lost count on how many times I have tried later. The error code shown is: 'BEbpPvm1fUG6KuD2.4.1.1.2.1.11'. Once Close is selected and you are returned to the game, a NOTICE comes up saying 'Purchase failed, Error code : PILUM' > EXIT. *** This isn't specific to my hardware, plenty of others have mentioned this in threads, seems to be common.



Very keen to get through the campaign as many following await that have been on hold for quite some time (Cold War, Vanguard, MW II & III)



I've gone by other posts in the past but nothing has worked, if ANYONE has any suggestions, please chime in!!!

Ive been talking to Activision for the last 6 weeks about the issue with Call of Duty 2019 Campaign and Spec ops, as well as an issue with the Vault edition Upgrade for MW3.

All i wanted to do was play the Full Modern Warfare Campaign across all 3 games.

it seems the Activision support team just dont care, take great lenghts to waste your time, and when they get bored use as many avoidance tactics as possible.

Theyve kept me talking to them for nearly 6 weeks up to this point, and the last thing they did was ask me for the recipt, for a 5 year old game, its laughable. Who keeps recipts for that long.

Anyway, all i've had are stupid avoidence tactics and bad attitudes from the so called support team.. Have been basically ignored. Microsoft helped me with the issue with the MW3 Upgrade, wasnt ideal, but its sorted.

All i can do now is compile all the Emails i have, and send them to the Better business bureau, Maybe start a case, as theyre still selling digital copies online, fradulent and deliberately knowing the issues with it.

Someone should Make Phil Spencer Aware of what his latest acquisition is doing, its gonna backfire on Microsoft, and the Xbox brand.

Nothing much you can do except report all your issues to microsoft. all activision have done with me is repeatedly ask me to reset my console, and ask me for recipts or use various other avoidance tactics. The support team at activision arent at all interested in helping, they just keep handing you across to the next support advisor, who doesnt read the history, and it starts repeating itself over and over again. Ive done everything youve done, it took me 3 weeks in total before i decided to call Activision Support, and when they got difficult i called Microsoft.

i spent 3 weeks Troubleshooting on my own.

6 weeks with Activision support. still ongoing.

I dont know what to suggest, except keep Activision support busy, slip in the odd backhanded sly comment or term agaist them. Theyre not in it to help anyone in my hoonest opinion, and its going to be a while before Microsoft's Xbox team get in there to sort all of activision shenanigans out. I hope Activisions whole support team get fired for how theyve been treating their customers. They deserve nothing less.
