I Can't play online with my friend

Hello,

I installed Minecraft Windows10 and I can't join my friend on his realm's serveur. He added me but I can't join, it says "The configuration of your Xbox Live account doesn't allow you to play online in multiplayer. You can edit this choice in your parameter
of confidientality and safety online on Xbox.com" but when I check my parameter, it all seems good to me and I can't change anything.

Can't play online with friends.

It most likely is a hardware settings issue Valiu.

If you could run through this guide on
multiplayer and party problems due to NAT settings it might help you, its worth checking anyway.

However if your settings are all correct it may well be an issue at your friends end.

Well I went in and there seems to be no NAT problems... everything is running fine... I wondering if that new update screwed with something...

This means your xbox account is a child account (or you manually changed the settings below). If your xbox account is a child account that can't be changed in any way - even changing the birth date. If that is so, you will need an adult to create an account,
invite you to a family group and change some privacy settings for you.

On your adult account go here Sign in to your Microsoft account and click on the child's account and allow the option on the first page called "Share stuff people make (Xbox 360: Member Content)" to everyone
(must be everyone). Also, on the first page, "Others can communicate with voice, text, or invites" to Friends or Everybody. And on the xbox one/windows 10 tab the second option down, "Join multiplayer games", enable that. And then log out and in on the account
in question on the console/device and that account can play online.

If your microsoft account is an adult account you may be able to access that page but any changes will not take effect for real if your xbox account is a child account.

If both are a child/teen account that page will take you to a page about adding a child account to a family.

Did you get a code or buy it from Microsoft? If you have a code you will have to go to the store and apply the code.

You are required to be sure the version purchased was for PC , My next step in advice will be to contact xbox directly by phone for further assistance.

Thank you for taking the time to post this on the Xbox Forums. We understand that you are currently experiencing difficulties with being able to use online features for your games on your Window 10 device.

pedro, this could be due to the way your network configuration is currently set-up and I would like to have you verify the status of your NAT type on your Windows 10 device.

This can be done by following these simple steps:

Press the Windows button on your device or keyboard, or select the
Windows icon in the lower-left corner of the main screen.
Select Settings > Gaming, and then select
Xbox Networking.
Under Xbox Live Multiplayer, check the NAT type.

If you have anything other than an Open NAT type, then I would recommend review the article that covers information on

how to troubleshoot issues with multiplayer games on Window 10.
