I can't play on Minecraft realms because of how my account is set up I need help

Just to confirm, does your account have an active Gold or Ultimate subscription? You can confirm that on https://account.microsoft.com/services and go to https://account.xbox.com/Profile if you're checking the right Xbox profile or account.

Are you also using a child account? Please visit your privacy settings page on https://account.xbox.com/Settings if you could access it. If your account is child, you won't be able to access it and instead you'll be redirected to a different page.

Please also check on your console if there's a child account added to it. Try remove the other accounts on your new console and just keep your own.

Now it's telling me that I can't play on realms because of how my microsoft account is set up.

Hello I am experiencing this problem with Minecraft im trying to join my friends realms but it said you cannot play minecraft realms because of how your account is set up. You can change your privacy and online settings in aka.ms/account settings
but it never works i cant find privacy settings anywhere it sends me to xbox support everytime. Please help

I wanted to play Minecraft PS4 servers but when i signed into my Microsoft account i couldn't play servers because of the message that popped up "You cannot play online multiplayer because of how your Microsoft account is set up." please help me resolve
this problem because i have nothing on my account restricting this type of play.

I have the same issue with my children’s accounts. No matter what settings I change, they cannot play with me on my realm.

This is infuriating especially since it’s only affecting minecraft. I can play other multiplayer games with them, though.

This doesn't help with my situation. Nothing I can do to change my settings so I can play with my friends on Minecraft which should be a game that EVERYONE should have multiplayer compatibility but for some reason, I can't do it. The game says I need realm
which is fine, but apparently my settings are messed up and I can't change it. I'm 17 fresh out of high school and a man can't play Minecraft with the boys when my birthday almost coming up. My account shouldn't be labeled as "child" When I'm a grown person
