I can't play nor refund a game that isn't working

I bought the expansion pass for The Witcher 3 and they charged two times I asked for a refund and they accepted it, now the other copy just doesnt work and its shown in my Microsoft store that I have to buy it again, but they are still charging for the
copy that isn't working anymore.

They say I can't refund a game that I already played, but as I said before, the game doesn't work.

Can someone help me with this problem or wil I have to pay twice?

Thanks for reaching out to the forums. We understand you have question on a game. We recommend requesting a call from support. There may be an issue with the license since you got a refund for the duplicate game charge.

When you go to Contact Us,follow these steps to request a call from support:

Step 1 ----click on Contact us
Step 2 ----under what you having trouble with select Subscriptions & billing
Step 3-----under what is the issue I can't redeem a code then hit next

Step 4 ----scroll down to select request a call

Once they call explain the issue and they will be able to help you. Note that these options regularly change so just keep selecting something that gives request a call from support as a contact option.

I to have done all things requested an suggested with zero luck. I can't download the expansion nor can I play the game itself. Any help or a patch would be appreciated. If this can't be fixed, where can we go to an request a refund?

As much as I'd like to agree with you, I'd like to share some points;

- From my understanding of the issue, Microsoft wasn't aware that the games don't work. The issue became known after the games were released. As for FIFA, some Series X consoles can play it without a problem while it crashes on others.

- Microsoft's refund policy is pretty straightforward, if the game has been played, they don't issue a refund. This can be appealed by replying the email you got from the refund team.

- Microsoft do not own nor develop these games. Reaching out to the game support for an ETA on when the issue will be addressed might be best.

- There's isn't a separate number for refund support unfortunately.

I'm sorry you're experiencing these issues but I'm just a gamer like yourself and I do not work for Microsoft. My role here is just to advise.
