  1. I can’t play my games and I need help.


    I bought the Xbox game pass for console version and I play on an Xbox S (one month old) and I can’t play halo master chief collection even though I have game pass and when I try to play it says the it needs the owner to be signed in to play when I bought game pass under my account and I just want to play my games. What should I do?

    I’m sorry to say but I still can’t play my game.

    It still says and I quote “The person who bought this needs to sign in.

    Sign in with the account that bought the game or installed the app.”

    Thank you for your prompt response.

    It sounded weird or maybe it is a bug that make you not able to play your own game if using the right account.

    We can try resetting your console to factory defaults by keeping apps and games.

    • Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
    • Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Console info > Reset console.
    • On the Reset your console? screen, you'll see three options: Select Reset and keep my games & apps. Use this option as your first choice when troubleshooting. It will reset the OS and delete all potentially corrupted data without deleting your games and apps.

    Additionally, try to uninstall and reinstall the game and see if that will work.
