I cant play MX unleashed on my 360. It says 360 hard drive required

So I downloaded MX unleashed today as the free game with gold live. Its installed but whenever I start it, a screen appears saying I need to attach xbox 360 hard drive to play this game. I am able to play all other games. Is there a way around?

The emulation software needed to play original Xbox games on an Xbox 360 is preinstalled on official Xbox 360 hard drives. So yes, you do need an official 360 hard drive in order to play MX Unleashed.

Yes, that is what I have on my Xbox 360, What a bummer, Another worthless Xbox gold free game that does not work for many of us.

is this the case even if you have downloaded the game to the xbox internal storage and not to the attached external drive?

It depends on what you have as internal storage. There were 360s that came with 4GB of internal storage, but that was considered flash memory, not a hard drive.

And Are you saying the internal drive that comes with the Xbox is not an original drive, That is quite a confusion
