i cant play multiplayer on minecraft latest version and in the older version it says null...

I checked out the minecraft forum, but all discussion there is older and only for the "Xbox One Edition" version of Minecraft, which is effectively discontinued, and doesn't have the multiplayer problem.

My issue is with the "regular" (?) version of Minecraft on Xbox (not the Xbox One Edition) ...btw, whoever came up with these two versions is a moron...

Thanks for your post. I understand you are attempting to play Minecraft with a friend online, if he has the latest version of Minecraft, you must purchase the upgrade to join his game. Since you two have different versions, Minecraft will continue to ask
you to upgrade to the latest version so you may play together.
