    I can't play Halo The Master Chief collection with my account


    Hi, I'm having a problem trying to use my account in halo master chief collection. When I enter the game and press start, it hangs, makes a noise and returns me to the home screen.

    The problem only happens with my account, when I log in with another account on the same xbox if I can play

    This problem started after I changed the location of my console from Mexico to the United States.

    I tried to change the location of my console again and it didn't work, I also deleted the stored data of my profile and it didn't work either, I deleted the profile from the console and put it back but it didn't work either.

    Sorry if I had errors writing, my Inglish is not perfect

    I hope someone can help me.

    Hello chrisgerrad1,

    Thank you for confirming. Halo: Combat Evolved does require Halo: The Master Chief Collection in order to play. Combat Evolved acts as an add-on of sorts for the Master Chief Collection. You will need the full purchase of the Master Chief Collection in order to own all the titles within the package.

    Halo Reach is not on the Master Chief Collection disc, only the Halo CE, 2, 3 & 4 are. If you want to play Halo reach, then you can purchase the dlc for the Master Chief Collection or download the Backward Compatible version.
