I can't play games or download games on microsoft store

Same issue, when I click on "play on your PC" on the microsoft store, a white window of microsoft store appears and I can't do anything... Do you have the same problem ?

Slightly different I can't even download the game, it says it is starting to download and then just stops after a minute or so.

I can't download play anywhere titles. When I look on xbox game pass on microsoft store it just shows blank card. I tried downloading games like Sea of thieves throught microsoft website but it said that it isn't avaiable even tho my friend downloaded
it at the same time.

Hi there welcome to the community forum! Christopher here, an Xbox fan just like you and has been on Xbox for years already. I would really love to make your day by helping you out. Well, I suggest you try this:

Open the Settings app it is the gear in the start menu.

Open Accounts

Click Sign-in Options

Scroll down to Privacy

Uncheck "Use my sign-in info to automatically finish setting up my device and reopen my apps after an update and restart."

Restart your PC!

Check the "ready to play" list games. If the game is not there try to download it from the store. If the game is there yet you can't play it, delete the game and download it again.
