I CANT PLAY CERTAIN GAMES!

Hi,

My Xbox One S console has been having problems recently. I am unable to play Fifa 18 and Fortnite as it comes up with a message saying “for some reason _____ took too long to start. (0x8027025a)”. I have contacted Xbox and they
have taken me through troubleshooting steps such as resetting my Xbox and restarting it. They said it was a problem on my internet provider end but I can play other games fine such as call of duty and mine craft Xbox one edition. Can anyone help with this?

June DLC is 1 Spec Ops, 3 Face/Off Maps, 0 MP maps

so you cant play certain multiplayer maps in certain game modes?..like some wont be available in free for all?

PLEASE HELP ME I CANT PLAY CERTAIN GAMES

I have downloaded games for the ready to install section on my Xbox but it wont let me play them it just says "do you own this game or app" and I am signed into the account that downloaded it and I'm connected to Xbox live whenever I try to play them please
help me.

please try the steps on this link:

Make sure to wait at least 30 seconds after powering the console down and disconnect it from power and wait another 60 seconds before reconnecting and powering it on again.

If that didn't fix the issue, then I would suggest performing a Factory Reset (with keeping games and apps installed) as mentioned on this link: Reset Xbox One Console to Factory Defaults

Hi there Tim welcome to the community forum! Christopher here, an Xbox fan just like you and has been on Xbox for years already. I would really love to make your day by helping you out. All of you should try the following and see if it fixed the issue!

Open the Xbox Guide by pressing the guide button on the controller and select

Settings.

Select Network Settings.

Select Advanced Settings.

Under Change Settings select Alternate MAC Address.

Select Clear.

Allow the console to restart when prompted.
