I can't play any games beside fortnite on cloud gaming browser

thanks so much man, i honestly thought this was just me and that i wasn't gonna be able to play any xbox games on my pc anymore

I just checked myself to see if I'm experiencing the same issue, and it seems that I am. On the Xbox Cloud Gaming website, the "Play" button appears grayed out, as you can see in the screenshot I took recently:



As of now, Xbox has not officially announced anything regarding this issue. However, given the situation and seeing that it's affecting several players, including myself, it's necessary to report this emerging problem to Xbox so that they can investigate and resolve it as soon as possible through the following link:

On the right side of the webpage, press the green button that says "Report" and fill in the information requested regarding the problem.

However, it seems that if you run the game in the Cloud from the Xbox App on a PC or mobile phone instead of from the web browser, it works without any issues. I recommend playing this way at least until the web browser Cloud problem is resolved.

It's important to note that in this public forum, we are just players like you trying to help and guide other players.

As I have checked, it is indeed only available on the web browser.

On Xbox support site it is stated: "Play Fortnite with cloud gaming for free through your web browser

You can play Fortnite for free through your web browser without needing an Xbox Live Gold or Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription. All you need to play is a Microsoft account with an Xbox profile, which is free, and a supported, Bluetooth-enabled controller if desired. Touch controls are also supported for players who don’t have a supported controller."

Also, an information through Epic game's support site:

"Fortnite through Xbox Cloud Gaming is available through browser only, and is not available to launch via the Xbox Cloud Gaming mobile app, Xbox app on Windows, or the Xbox console game library. See Xbox’s support website for the list of supported web browsers."

Fortnite via Xbox Cloud Gaming is only available for web browser access and cannot be launched from the Xbox Cloud Gaming mobile app, Xbox app for Windows or the Xbox console game library. First, you must access the Fortnite page on Epic Games. Then click "Play Now" in the yellow rectangle. From there you will be redirected to the Fortnite page on Xbox Cloud Game. There, just click on "Play", and then the site will ask you to login.
