I can't log into the xbox app

I did the steps, and unfortunately the same thing happens. I open the xbox app, and can't sign in. When I click the sign in button, nothing happens. It looks like the app refreshes in the background (games list reload) but nothing occurs.

Press the Windows Button then type Services.

Right-click over the Services App from the list of results.

Then select Run as Administrator

Scroll to the bottom and find the following services:

IP Helper

Xbox Live Auth Manager,

Xbox Live Game Save,

Xbox Live Networking Service.

Do this with each of the services listed above.

Right-click over the service and select Properties.

Find the Startup type section and make sure it’s set to Automatic.

If the service isn’t started, click Start to start the services.

Click Apply and OK to save changes.

Then try log in again, please.

I'm having the same issue. When I go into settings under the Account tab my Store Account is logged in, but my Microsoft account just has a green bar that says "Sign in". When I click it, it looks like the app refreshes in the background but nothing happens. And when I click "EDIT" in the corner, nothing happens either. I have also restarted the PC and reinstalled the application.

Have you tried any troubleshooting steps so far, such as reinstalling the Xbox app?

I tried every way you told me but the problem remains.

Answers for your questions:

1. No, only Windows Security.

2. Yes, I am using my own home connection.

3. Yes, Microsoft Store is working properly and I can download other apps or games.

4. Nope, a black window on a white background opens up for a second and closes itself instantly.
