I can't log into my Microsoft Account because my 2FA text code is invalid.

The easy fix is to honestly just make a new account. You said its a brand new xbox and new account, so there isnt much to lose other than your time. Just create a new account, new email if you have to and restart the whole process man.

Some subscriptions have their own account sign ins so you should be okay with that. If it was Xbox Game Pass as long as that first account made your Xbox the home xbox any other profile on your xbox will have gamepass too and have access to the games. And when the subscription runs out just purchase a new one on the newer account.

Or try logging into your account through the xbox website on your phone and do a recovery from there, instead of texting- have it sent to the email. Hope that helps if even a little & sorry it isnt more.

so awhile back I deleted the correct phone number on my 2fa instead of the phone number that needed to be deleted. the phone number that needed to be deleted has an extra digit so i can't even send the code to that number to get the code. so now when i try to log into my account i can't get the code to change my password. since i have 2fa the account recovery form won't work. is there any way for the correct phone number to be put back on the account.

When you first initially setup 2fa it would have given you several backup codes and told you to save them in a safe place.

When it asks for the code being sent to your phone number you can enter in one of those backup codes instead.

If you didnt save said backup codes then the account will be unrecoverable.

I don’t have those backup codes and I’m not sure if I could obtain those. The account is 10+ years old so those codes are definitely gone. It’s the same reason as to why I can’t log in with using 2FA. The second email associated with 2FA is old and now deactivated. Surely Microsoft has some sort of method or work around for situations like this? If I could be contacted at the phone # associated with the account or able to get on the line with Microsoft who could help unlock my account or prove verification in other ways/etc.

I have not tried this app yet its the one that come with the phone and the activision thing is I can't log in because the 2fa and I don't know how to log in to it

i had the same error code 80151103 when trying to transfer my profile. i logged into my account on my cpu and it said my account was temporarily suspended. they asked for a phone # that accepts text msgs. i got a text with a code put it in and now im up
