    I can't log in with the (newly) changed passwords when I change passwords, and it keeps...


    My account has been hacked and set under a new gmail: "ov*****@rambler.ru", previously under my own email.

    Though my account still has my full name on it, because it is my personal account, it changed emails (for password reset) without any notification being sent to my actual email (not the rambler.ru email) that the email of the account was changed, the change was untracable!

    I have reset my password multiple times to this account and even set up the authenticator. But every time when it tries to log me in under my real gmail, I fill in this newly changed password, it says it is incorrect. Then when I try and change it again, with my gmail and with the authenticator, it gives me an error instead of logging me in!

    When I try to log into my account under 'forgot password?' it says the "send code to ov*****@rambler.ru". EVEN THOUGH, when I log in, the account is still listed as my real gmail.

    Microsoft account recovery froms have been unhelpful because I have acces to my real gmail, I have acces to my authenticator but WHENEVER I TRY TO LOG IN, it still says password incorrect and gives me the option to "send code to ov*****@rambler.ru"??!!!

    The forms told me that the way you recover it won't be effective if you have an authenticator because you have to recover it through your email.

    How do I recover this in my situation?

    Being prompted for Microsoft account password to sign in every time.

    T Ghost's solution worked for me... Mine happened when i changed my emails/alias as well.

    I just changed it to require password

    Log out

    Log back in with password

    Change to save password

    Log out

    Log in... No password needed.

    Regardless, I would change my XBL password if I were you. This message normally appears when you are logged in on another console (obviously!), so if someone has captured or figured out your password, they can log in as you.

    Its good to change passwords every few months regardless.

    Log into the Microsoft account on your pc or laptop and change the password when the password is changed the account gets locked so anything its logged into will prompt for the new password. They wont wo able to get on and will be forced to do there own

    I have had that before when I changed my password and a site had auto remembered my old password. Changing that seemed to work for me. Usually it didn't prevent me from logging in though, just the pop up which I later was able to stop with changing the
    saved password.
