    I can't Log In to Minecraft for Windows 10.


    I just recently bought the base game for Minecraft for Windows 10 from the Microsoft Store. I tried to play online but when I tried signing in, the game prompted me to unlock the full version then it gave me the options of starter and master editions.

    After restarting the Microsoft Store app and my computer/ logging out then back into the store/ uninstalling and reinstalling the game, it still gave me the same prompt to unlock the full version by buying one of the two editions.

    I eventually gave in and spent another $30 to buy the Starter Edition but I am still having the same problem. I did all of the fixes i mentioned previously again and the game still isn't working. It still prompts me to buy one of the two editions.

    Some assistance would be greatly appreciated.

    I am confused by your answer. I have never logged in to Xbox Live. I simply click on Minecraft icon on Windows 10 to start to play. The version is Minecraft Starter Edition for Windows 10.

    I own minecraft "windows 10 edition" on xbox one but isn't availabile on windows 10....
    There is no "Windows 10 Edition" on the Xbox One.

    On the Xbox One, there was a "Minecraft Xbox One Edition" but that has been replaced with just "Minecraft".

    As the others already said, "Minecraft" is not a Play Anywhere title, so owning "Minecraft" on the Xbox One, doesn't give you "Minecraft Windows 10 Edition" on the PC.

    However, if you own Minecraft Java Edition on PC, you can log into your Mojang Account on PC, and can get a code for the Windows 10 Version.
