    I can't log in into my old Xbox account. Xbox had made a new account for the same email...


    I have been trying to log in into my account with the gamertag of "wind9460" with yet the same email as this Xbox account "Josephestic". I did not make a new Xbox account nor delete my old one with the gamertag of "wind9460" I am extremely confused by how my email has registered 2 Xbox accounts and with that change, I can no longer play Minecraft: Java Edition nor Minecraft: Bedrock Edition due to this issue. I have also been trying to log in using my Microsoft account on the Xbox app for PC, just to be met with the error of "Something went wrong, Please try again later; Error Code: 0x80048823". I demand my "wind9460" Xbox account back please.

    Can we talk about how stupid it is that I can't link my old Xbox account to my new email?

    Well, no, because the Xbox account didn't exist until I made it. I could have used this email as the alias for my old account had I not mistakenly signed up for a new Xbox account with it. I made the Xbox account, so why can't I delete it from existence, and then use this email as the alias for my old Xbox account?

    you misunderstand i was at my friends house i tried to log in on there xbox but the thing said i had to make a new email cause the old one was people pc so i made a outlook account and i then added it to the xbox and my games were gone

    in short old xbox live account lost, still want same Facebook on new account, can't access old xbox account to unlink, and Facebook doesn't show my Facebook as connected but when I try connecting Facebook to new account it says it's logged in to the old

    I have the same issue, did you have to create a new Xbox account? When I logged in, it made me a new Xbox account, which doesn’t own minecraft. I can’t get back into my old account that owns the game.
