I cant load Metro Exodus on the Xbox(beta) app for PC

ive seen this issue all over the place and thought id put my input into the discussion.

i've played metro exodus before on my xbox and a while ago i switched to pc. i noticed that metro exodus(windows) was on the pc game pass and i thought id try to replay it. however when i installed it i couldnt load the game at all. ive tried everything
i could to troubleshoot the problem, i checked task manager and there it wasnt running there. i reinstalled metro, i reinstalled xbox and metro along with all my other games, i went into settings and tried both repairing and resetting the game and nothing
seems to have any effect. ive tried launching the game every way i know at each step, through the shortcut, through the console companion app, through the xbox(beta) app, and through the startup file itself in file explorer. the only thing that ever happens
is i get the little loading cursor appear for a second and then disappear.

i know that my computer has the capacity to run the game as i have run much more high end demanding games and pc has never once lagged reset or even gone above 40 degrees celsius. if you find a solution please share with others as i have seen hundreds of
others suffering the same issue.

You got me wrong, its in pc gaming category. Im talking about playing metro exodus on pc on xbox (beta) app

I've been trying to find any answers to your problem, but all the information I see is people having similar issues as yours.

Can you try to open the Xbox Beta app with Admin rights and launch the game from there?

Not sure if this will help but have you tried searching for the file on the bottom left windows bar search then right clicking it and "open as admin"?

Don't do it from any of the apps. The game file should appear in your windows search in the Taskbar.

I had this issue before but I can't remember if that solved it or updating my windows did.

the only options available are message an xbox gamer and make another post since the call option is unavailable. im assuming the call centres are closed? its 5:30 here
