Do you see any error messages when trying to link the account?

If everything works up until the sign-in step and then fails, try the following:

1. Make sure both your Microsoft and PlayStation accounts are in good standing and not already linked to other accounts.

2. Clear your browser cache or try using a different browser/device for the linking process.

3. Double check that you're using the correct Microsoft account, the one you want Sea of Thieves linked to.

I’m afraid to say, but according to the official Minecraft article I’m going to share below:

“As of March 15, 2023, please DO NOT unlink your MSA from your PlayStation account via the in-game menu. You will be unable to link it back if you do so.”, and in addition to that, “Once a Microsoft account has been linked to a PlayStation® account, neither the Microsoft account nor the PlayStation™ Network account can be associated with a different account.”

bought sea of thieves and accidentally linked my deleted Microsoft account to my PlayStation one. I know longer can play the game anymore because I can’t connect it to my new Microsoft account. I was wondering if yall could delete my old Microsoft account from my PlayStation account.

Microsoft cant do that since the linking is starts from Sony's end.

So basically you can never link a different Microsoft account to your Playstation account. It will be forever tied to the deleted Microsoft account.

Keep in mind this is a restriction imposed by Sony. Not Microsoft.

I can’t reach anybody every time I try it says to sing in and then it comes up with a error code saying it can’t sing me in and it won’t let me contact customer service so I’m at a lost here.

Hello Nathan, thanks for your response, the platform I’m on is PlayStation Network. The Microsoft account I have linked to my psn account is different from my in game minecraft Microsoft account. Shouldn’t I be able to somehow unlink the minecraft Microsoft account from the game so it can change to the actual account that’s connected to psn? Sorry if this sounds confusing.
