I can't launch any Xbox Gamepass games.

Whenever I try to launch any game on Game Pass, it just says "This app can't open". It happens for all apps, even when I uninstall and redownload them, I've tried Crusader Kings III, Humankind, No Man's Sky, Secret Neighbour and Totally Accurate Battle Simulator. I've tried singing out of the Xbox app, restarting my PC, updating my graphics drivers, unlinking/relinking my external connections such as Reddit, Discord and Steam, deleting the Xbox apps entirely, reinstalling the game services, yet nothing seems to help. This issue has persisted for around a week by this point so it isn't even like its the fault of servers or something being down. I would really appreciate help with this as I've paid for Xbox game pass and feel very disappointed at the fact that I can't even use the service. Thanks in advance to anyone who is willing to help!

Clicking get help with this does literally nothing, it doesn't open any help pages or redirect me anywhere.

I have a 1650, with a Ryzen 5 2600, 16gb ram and my games are downloaded onto a 1tb HDD. My computer is currently on windows 11 if that has anything to do with it.

Hello Matyas, have you checked if you have the latest version of Windows installed, at 21H2, because recently came out the latest update to Windows 10.

Microsoft releases some important fixes for Win 10 and 11 but they appear as "Optional Updates" on the system, after updating them to make sure you have the Xbox App Companion installed, it works in conjunction with the Xbox App.

Thank you, so much! Reverting to an older installation of Windows 11 seems to have fixed the problem!

No, They are not. I had GamePass PC earlier and everything used to work properly but then one day I got notification that there is an offer on GamePass Ultimate so I upgraded but since the day GamePass PC subscription ended and GamePass Ultimate subscription started, I can only launch games that are on EA Play and that too from EA Desktop App only.

Now, because the GamePass Ultimate was a 3 month subscription, so I can't even go back to GamePass PC until it's over.

Any game that launches from Xbox app for Windows fails to launch and tried repairing and resetting the Xbox and Microsoft Apps, sign-out and then again sign-in on both the apps but still same thing.

For Example, Forza Horizon 4 used to work earlier but now it does not.

Thanks for letting me know! I don't buy any digital games on the Xbox, only Gamepass so I cant tell
