    Cant create a rewards account.

    Hi I am trying to create a rewards account, but whenever I sign up I get this message.

    "Unfortunately, you can't join Xbox Live Rewards right now. It's strictly because you need an Xbox Live account to join Xbox Live Rewards. Just follow these simple steps:"

    I have had this account for a while, so I'm not sure why it wont let me create a rewards account.

    Cannot join

    Hi,

    I get the message "Unfortunately, you can't join Xbox Live Rewards right now. It's strictly because you need an Xbox Live account to join Xbox Live Rewards." when I try to sign up on https://rewards.xbox.com/join-now/#submit_form
    .

    It then says "*After you create an Xbox Live account, it can take up to 96 hours for you to be able to join Xbox Live Rewards." but my account should exists way longer than that.

    Can someone help me?

    Recently Hacked.. Confused with Temporary Accounts and Old Accounts

    Nothing comes up as far as recent rewards, surveys, etc. It acts as if if I've never had a rewards account. So when I click on join xbox live rewards and choose Yes I want to participate in the Xbox LIVE Rewards program. It takes me to a page that says I'm
    Sorry, You need an Xbox LIVE account to join Xbox LIVE awards yaddy yaddah...etc. etc. So I go ahead and click on the go to xboxlive button. It loads up just fine and I check my status and I'm on Gold 12-month set to auto-renew on 9/28/2012.

    I have been a member of the rewards program since it’s launch but now when I log in it asks me to join the rewards program.

    When I sign in it then says I don’t have an Xbox live account when I clearly do so and have done so for like 6 years.

    Just to clarify I am using the same rewards account and live account as I have done since launch without previous issue.

    That's odd. Nope you got the correct subscription. You also don't need xbox live gold to join rewards it just gives you more advantage to earn more points. Does this happen when you click that link to signup/login? If that's not the link you're trying to
    click. Can you describe what is it? This will help everyone here to isolate the problem

    Yes, the link I click is the "Join Xbox Live Rewards" and then when I choose the "Yes I want to participate in the Xbox Live Rewards program" it sends me straight to a page that says

    "We're Sorry. Unfortunately, you can't join Xbox Live Rewards right now. It's strictly because you need an Xbox Live account to join Xbox Live Rewards. Just follow these simple steps:

    Step 1: Connect to your Xbox One or Xbox 360

    Step 2: Join Xbox Live*

    Step 3: Come back and sign up for Xbox Live Rewards

    If you have already taken the steps listed, please try again soon. "

    And when I try again in a day or two it gives me the exact same message.
