    I can’t join my friends Minecraft worlds but they can join mine


    Lately my minecraft has been acting up. When I want to join my friends I can’t and doesn’t show their world under friends and nothing shows up when they invite me to their world. But they can easily join mine. Whats also annoying is that we are all on
    the same version on minecraft so there shouldnt be anything getting in our way. So please help me I want to play with my friends school is almost about to start and were not gonna get all this free time to play anymore so we want to make the most of it.

    laughable how little effort theyve put into cross platform.. im on ps4, got friends on ps4 and PC and every world they invite me to fails and vise vera. have tried basically everything. laziness from minecraft is the only real reason i can see. want my
    money back!

    I have gone through all my privacy settings and allowed the one to let me play with people outside of xbox live. I have paid for a Nintendo switch online membership and allows me to join servers. But when I go to invite someone to my game it doesn't let
    me. Then when I go to make the world multiplayer it's grayed out so I can't make it a multiplayer world. I don't understand what is wrong. Please help.

    Have both of you checked if is available any game update?

    Someone have change somithing in their connection? switch from ethernet to wireless or similar? changed router? ISP? maybe this is a port forwarding issue.

    Who is joining which world? Are you joining her world on PC, or is she joining your world on Xbox?

    Was there any change in both of your networking environment, or was additional software installed on her PC like an anti-virus program that came with a third party firewall?

    Also are your worlds set to allow multiplayer in the world settings before you enter your world?

    Do you get a specific error message that prevents you from joining the multiplayer world?

    Did someone join the Minecraft Beta through the Insider Program and is now on a "newer" Minecraft version?

    As the others already mentioned, did you make sure both your
    online and privacy settings     allow you to play online multiplayer and see other people's creations?
