I cant join my friend on Xbox Minecraft but my other account can

I can join anybodys minecraft game except for one friend. We cant join each others game and all my other friends can join me and him. He hosts most of our worlds so i have no purpose for this game until i can connect to him.

Hello I am experiencing this problem with Minecraft im trying to join my friends realms but it said you cannot play minecraft realms because of how your account is set up. You can change your privacy and online settings in aka.ms/account settings
but it never works i cant find privacy settings anywhere it sends me to xbox support everytime. Please help

Same here. The friends tab in Minecraft xbox changes the number underneath it as my LAN friends enter their world on their devices, so xbox is definitely recognising that they are there. I see that number change within seconds of them starting on their
device. But underneath that, it still says "your friends are not playing Minecraft right now" when they quite clearly are. My friends on other devices see each others joinable worlds, but I cant see those same worlds from my xbox. They can see my xbox worlds
and join, but i cannot see theirs. Help!

Thanks for replying. I have made sure my box account is not a part of any family and have gone through the privacy settings as well. I was able to join my friends before but it stopped working suddenly the other day. Now I cant join any of my friends worlds and they cant join any of mine.

I just uninstalled and reinstalled the game because there were no updates in the games and apps application. As for making sure my friends settings allow my friends to join, at least in minecraft, people that can join my servers is set to friends of friends.
In the xbox system settings>account>privacy>communication & multiplayer, all features are set to allow or everybody, but I do not see a feature that would affect others from joining my games. (Well, they can join, but upon doing so, recieve a "cannot connect
to server" error)
