    I can't join my friend on Minecraft preview


    Ok when i try to join my friend it says, "unable to join you need to be friends with somebody in this server" and this is only that friend, and that friend can join anybody else besides me is there a fix? please let me know thanks I can't join my friend on Minecraft preview :)

    (I only play Minecraft preview because my friends regular mc isn't working

    If this is an issue with just one friend it can be an issue on their account. Please ask your friend to ensure that his/her setting is setup correctly via https://account.xbox.com/settings.

    Kindly remove this friend from your friend list and then re-add as part of troubleshooting steps.

    Ok so I know this was a long time ago but now its with all my friends so i dont know is it something wrong with my account because all my other friends are able to play with each other. Is it because I'm on windows 10? i dont know respond soon please

    I have the same issues and tried the troubleshooting, it didn't work. I think the Minecraft preview is just bugged and doesn't register that our friend is our friend all the way, because when you go to the add friend button in Minecraft preview and type in the name of the friend you are trying to join it says you are already friends with them. I hope it gets fixed soon.

    I've tried it in the minecraft preview and it works fine, but i would prefer to play it on regular minecraft since I play a lot of cross-platform with my friends and they wouldn't be able to join me.
