    I cant join my friend on bedrock Minecraft, he is on pc and im on xbox.


    we have been playing for days together and it just now started saying “unable to connect to world” I can join other players on xbox but not him on pc, he cant join me either. nothing changed. We both restarted consoles and games many time, no help. We tried checking his setting for allowing others to join. he unadded me and added me back, i did the same, no help.

    My friend just recently bought minecraft on xbox. But it says its has 1.16 instead of 1.14 he cant join us and we cant join him. Why is this? We have the same game. Whats happening? How fo we fix this?
    Are you in pc? if you have jave you cant play together, but if you have bedrock ED you can.

    Or your friend has to update

    My friend and I bought the Minecraft Bedrock a while ago on PC, when the 2 in 1 deal came out, I was able to download Java edition but he wasn't?

    Your friend needs to confirm his license for the Minecraft Bedrock Edition for PC. Please ask your friend to sign in to https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders then check if he can see the transaction order for the Minecraft Bedrock Edition for PC stated as "completed".

    i run a minecraft server and for my kids to access it via xbox one they require the ip, thats it, even their friends join, basically only people i trust. but yes you can use an ip only. on minecraft for xbox, phone, switch, playstation and pc.

    i use the bedrock server software.
