I can't join a club in xbox.com

But please be aware that I'm not talking about joinning a party or a chat.



I'm talking about being a part of a club. In xbox.com, one can search for friends or clubs. But there isn't this option in Xbox Pc App ir Game Bar.

Apparently it use to be possible to search for a club on Xbox Console Companion PC App, but this App doesn't work anymore.



And I'm not on a console, I'm on PC. The guys from the club already sent me the invite. I didn't receive any notifications on Xbox App neither in game (Forza Horizon 5) though.



Despite of those issues i can see the button to accept the invitation on xbox.com, but it returns a 403 status.



And my privacy settings are OK.



Is there something else I can check?

We understand that you're having trouble accepting the club invitation on Xbox.com. The 403-error message usually indicates that you don't have the necessary permissions to access the page. This accepting of party issue could be an account related to your account privacy settings.



To resolve this issue, you can seek help to your parent/organizer of Microsoft family group you are part of to set your privacy for the club and party. Guide: Manage Xbox online safety and privacy settings | Xbox Support.

You can also try accepting the invitation from your Xbox console, if you have one.



Aside from the Xbox PC App, the Clubs feature has been integrated into the new Xbox Game bar. To access it, press Windows logo key and G, this will launch Xbox Game Bar. On the Widget menu choose Xbox Social. Check the party you are invited in or start a party.

You may also try to start a party by using the Xbox app:

1. Launch Xbox app for Windows to open the app.
   
2. Expand the Friends tab, and then select Start a party.
   
3. Choose which friends that you want to invite to the party, and then select Start a party. Your invite will appear as a notification to the friends that you selected. As they join, they’ll appear in your party list.

Hello

I have exactly the same problem on Xbox Series X. I can join social clubs, but I cannot join official clubs. I don't even have that join club button. I played Plague Tale Requiem and Elden Ring and I wanted to show my screenshots but i can't because i can't join the official club.

Thank you.

I can't join clubs even tho my settings says that i can create and join clubs i still can't and get an error message saying i should change it.

Can anybody help me?
