    I can't install Sea of Thieves or Forza Horizon 4 using Game Pass for PC


    So I'm having this weird issue whereby I can't update/install certain games via the Xbox Game Pass app on the PC. I first noticed this around the time the new expansion came out for Sea of thieves. When I tried to update I got the following error code: 0x80070005

    I've since totally uninstalled the game, and tried to redownload it onto multiple different drives on my computer, but to no avail. I've also tried the 'wsreset.exe' fix, but that also didn't work. Since then, I now get the same error with Forza Horizon 4 as well.

    Interestingly, I can download and play most other games without any issue; I've been playing Halo, Solasta and Tetris Effect, all without any problems at all.

    Game pass is a great way to try a bunch of games. PUBG, Sea of Thieves and Forza Horizon 4 are all free with Game Pass. There are also some other stand-outs such as Strange Brigade, Hellblade, Mutant Year Zero, We Happy Few, State of Decay 2, and Ashen.

    In addition to my earlier post, I'd have to add Forza Horizon 4 and Sea of Thieves to the list too. Forza Horizon 4 looks better and runs better on the X, it's a noticeable leap. The same goes for Sea for Thieves too!
