    I can't install a purchased game from the Microsoft store.


    I purchased a minecraft game today , it's been a few hours since my purchase but I'm not able to install the game . It still hasn't appeared in the "ready to install" section . My purchase appears in the "purchased"section , it also says "you own this product"
    , but I cannot download it . What should I do about it ? I am attaching a jpg file so you that can check it out .

    Maybe you can: run command prompt and put wsreset and press enter.

    See if it gets okay.

    This sounds pretty frustrating and I'm sorry you are experiencing this issue. Is the drive external by chance? You may want to try reformatting the drive to see if it will allow you to download again.

    Hiya!

    Paul from the Xbox Forums Team here to assist, it sounds like you're having an issue with installing games you own from the Microsoft store. What I recommend doing is checking to make sure your windows 10 pc is up to date. After doing so can you try installing
    the games to a different folder on the hard drive? Please let us know how it goes.

    This sounds pretty frustrating and I'm sorry you are experiencing this issue. Is the drive external by chance? You may want to try reformatting the drive to see if it will allow you to download again.
    it's a fairly new internal drive about 4 months old, western digital black 6tb. I don't have a free external drive currently with enough space to back it all up and reformat. would rather not delete and have to recover and redownload everything again as
    it would be extremely time consuming.
