I can't hear anything through my headphones

i think you misunderstand. Everything is fine except i can't hear myself through my own headphones. mic monitoring, mic feedback.. what ever you want to call it. I want to be able to hear myself when i talk while i have headphones on, just like i could with
the 360.

I'm not hearing chat audio through my X41 at all, although others can hear me. I tried all combinations of volume controls on the headphones, on the cord, the mute button on the X41, volume controls on the adapter, but still can't hear chat.

Hi Helpmepleasexbox, personally I rarely use a simple
headset but rather headphones audios, however, it happens to me with an old headset. I read all that has been said here and will not add it nevertheless, it happened to me in the past and after multiple tests, it was the headset that had a problem. The cable
had a fault (false contact) that I could not arrange. Hoping that you can know a better end.

Hi again and thanks for keeping us informed. You wrote "It keeps turning off and on." So the sound at the headphone or the settings at the console??? And if you mean the sound in the headset, with a movement of the controller?? If so, the jack or
cable could be damaged!?
