I can't go online in FH5

Hi there,

I pre-ordered fh5 premium when it launched, then I had my old pc, I could not go online back then because my modem had a "teredo block" enabled, so after I disabled that I could go online just fine,

after that I had to buy a laptop for my education, so I did, and I could also play Forza online just fine.

But because of limited storage on my laptop, I ended up uninstalling it to fit some other games I was playing at the time

a few months later, I installed Forza again and tried to go online convoy with my friends, but it didn't work

it doesn't give me an error code it just says "you have been disconnected, please try again later" with the option to load into Horizon Solo or if I want to retry and load in online, and it has been doing so for almost a week now.

When I join the convoy that my friends have, I can see them in the top right corner, but my name has a loading icon next to it, and when they start a race I can join it, but then I don't actually load in it, so I stay in the open world

I already checked if the teredo block was still disabled, that was still the case.

Online I found about all the Xbox Live services, they had to be on automatic start, they were not, still couldn't go online.

Tried switching between wired connection and wireless connection, didn't work.

I checked for updates, but all of them were already up-to-date.

I use the default Windows firewall, and it is already set to private and public networks for FH5.

FH5 servers could be down, but it would be weird if my friends can go in the online mode.

And the final thing I did was a re-installation of FH5, which also didn't work

We understand that you've been experiencing multiple connection issues while playing Forza Horizon 5 via the Xbox app for Windows.

So, I consulted my colleagues on this issue of yours and it is our conclusion that these issues of yours are basically in-game issues which can only be addressed by posting this issue over at the Official Forza Community Forums: https://forums.forza.net/

Keep in mind this is not an issue with the Xbox app for Windows but with the game itself. All the steps you've taken so far and described ind etail above are the very same steps we would have suggested. Those steps address the issue from the Xbox app for Window's perspective. And if none of those have solved your issue then it's clearly an issue with the game itself and not with the app.

Are you seeing this on Xbox One or Xbox 360? Are you able to play any other game online without problems? What sort of troubleshooting steps have you tried to do to fix it?

I did exactly as the page said,

Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth

Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth

Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth /Source:c:\test\mount\windows /LimitAccess

DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth

sfc /scannow

but the result says did not find any integrity violations as well.

I can launch other games like halo infinite but not FH5, so I do think the codes of the FH5 caused the crash.

Is there any other way can fix FH5 instead of resetting my PC?

I can't go online in FH5
