I can't get my money back from a pre order

So I Pre ordered Hogwarts legacy about 9 days before full release. So I went to refund the pre order (I had already paid for it) but it gives me no option to do so only cancel. But its not supposed to say cancel because I have already paid. I pressed cancel and it doesn't say anything else but it still say i paid for it with no refund option.

my issue is that the option to refund a request isn't there in the first place.

after i clicked cancel on the game I'm wanting to refund, it isn't in my order history anymore but i still paid for it and haven't got the money back

With regards to your issue, if you've been charged for the pre-ordered games already nothing to worry because you may submit a refund request for it since the game is not fully released yet.

Just follow the process on the page to submit a request, you will then receive an email from the Xbox refund team regarding the status of your request within 24-72 hours.
