2. Enter the email address associated with your Hotmail account and follow the prompts to verify your identity.

3. If you have a phone number or alternate email address associated with your account, Microsoft may send a verification code to that address or number.

4. Once you've verified your identity, you'll be able to reset your password and regain access to your account.

It hasn’t been resolved because I did ur form already is there a way to prove my account with my credit card number I had from my bank statements

I am not wishing to reset my password or alter security information. I simply wish to use my account. I have spend thousands of dollars over the years on this account and have too much time spent grinding games to give up on it like this. As soon as I got the notification that this unusual activity was detected I checked my banking account and saw no money being spent that wasn’t me. So if there is suspicious activity can’t they tell what it is and I say “yes that was me, or not” using my password and all the other information I have to tell them “it’s me” as verification. I’m sorry, I understand that’s not how this works but I’m not giving up on my account like this

This is a scam that originated in 2019. I, too, have been constantly changing my password -- thankfully, I looked up "why I keep getting this unusual sign-in activity" today -- and found it is a scam. I have changed my password again! But this time I changed it legitimately on the Microsoft Site -- not the link provided by the "authentic" email. I hope it provides enough protection, as any of the other passwords might afford someone to hack the other information attached to that account!
