I can't find the Xbox 360 Controller Drivers anywhere on the website

Greetings,

I'm currently trying to get my hands on the Xbox 360 Controller drivers in order to get a controller to work with Steam via the use of SCPToolkit. Unfortunately, the link the installer provides leads to a 404 error. I've spent about an hour navigating the
downloads page and the rest of the site and I am unable to find a download for the aforementioned drivers. I'd appreciate any assistance.

Xbox 360 Driver Needed

My Windows 7 Home Premium Activated computer needs the console drivers for Xbox 360 and I can't find them anywhere.

I've had my xbox 360 controller connected to my PC before via the wireless receiver. For some odd reason, it isn't working now. I know I need the older version of the driver: 2.something, not 10.something. Now I can't downgrade or find the old driver anywhere.
Can anyone help?

The issue is I don't have an xbox controller for this. I require the driver in order to make a third party controller work with Windows 7 and Steam.

I've found links like those working but only when I google for the drivers. The site has a connection that is not secure, just like the others I've found. The only difference at the moment is the one you linked has the language set to English from the
UK, whereas the other ones I've found have been set to English from India and China. Not exactly sure if they're trustworthy or legit. Do you know?

 

The link is a Microsoft link so I'd trust it myself.

 

Yeah but when you click on anything it sends you to a new tab or window, it doesn't update the site accessible through that link you've posted. The same goes for the one I find through google search. The only thing that makes me trust that it might be
legit is the fact my account is still signed in on it, although the apostrophe in my username has turned into "&#39". The reason I am reluctant is that I've seen fake websites borrow the appearance of an outdated version of a legit site belonging to some company,
providing executable files, masking them as the thing people are looking for. The fact the region language keeps changing makes me even more doubtful.

I would very much consider that link you've offered the solution to my problem, if we could somehow confirm that it is indeed legit and that we're not being played.
