    I cant find Sea of Thieves on the Xbox PC App, even though i have it on Xbox.


    I have been playing Sea Of Thieves recently with some of my friends on my xbox one s. My other friend, has been playing on his xbox series x. When he got his pc, he logged into the xbox app, and found he could download sea of thieves for free, when he was logged into his xbox account. So i go into the xbox app, and it doesnt show sea of thieves for me. It still shows i have to buy it. It was game shared from our second xbox, that could be the issue, but i havent tried using my dads account, which should be the first one Sea of Thieves was installed on. I dont want to buy sea of thieves for pc because i already have it on xbox, but the graphics are worse than your surface pro laptops.

    If I understood correctly, the game is owned by your Father's account, which is why it is not appearing for your account on the PC.

    Yes, you should be able to use any game your Dad's account downloads to your PC.

    Alright thank you, tomorrow I'm going to log into my dad's account to check if it's on there. If it is on there, am i able to log into my account after installing on his account to play?

    Why does the Xbox app insist on installing multiple installations of games on my C drive without my permission?

    Sea of thieves decided to uninstall itself for some reason over night, making it so that I cant play Sea of Thieves today due to the long download time.

    If I buy Sea of Thieves on Steam, can I play with the same account as on the xbox app version? That way I wont need to deal with the Xbox app or its version of Sea of Thieves.

    Good evening,

    I am also having the same issue where I cannot join my friends on Sea of thieves though the xbox gamesbar. I recently upgrade my pc to windows 11, and no issues with this on windows 10. I have both the steam version and windows store version of sea of thieves but only installed the steam version on my pc since upgrading to windows 11. I am able to play with my friends via the steam client, but when I try to join via the games bar I get the error of ms-application not found or something similar.

    Things I have tried to resolve the issue are:
    Uninstall / reinstall both the xbox gamesbar and sea of thieves
    Deleting the the registry keys for xbox gamesbar and sea of thieves

    Neither of these options worked. I am very confident it is not a network error as I am able to play of with others online. It is just inconvenient to not be able to use the xbox app.
