I can’t figure out why I cannot connect to parties or games even when my internet is connected.

this is a connection problem, the party hoster sometimes cannot host more than a certain amount of people in one party, at a time, due to his or her internet connection settings. sometimes i could be playing mw3 in a party of four, being the host of the
party, and when someone else joins or has slow connection my party will randomly lag them out or kick them, because with my internet i can only host 4 at a time. also there have been slight problems with xbox live recently.

Thanks for the reply. I cannot get into the troubleshoot menu at all to do the offline update or factory reset. No matter what combinations I have used, nothing seems to work. It just continually boots to the language page, country, and internet connection but can never get past that.

I’m still wondering why under the device: it says device not authenticated, and if it has something to do with that. I do have the serial number but is there anyone at Xbox that could help figure out why I can’t even get to the troubleshoot page or if there is a work around.

Same happens to me sometimes, I cannot connect to certain parties and when I do, it takes like 15 seconds. That is certain friends though. I know one guy on my friends list that I cannot connect to at all. The second I attempt to join party it tells me I
cannot connect... lol doesn't even give it a second to connect.

It helped, for the most part, for MW2 but not Warzone 2.

The fix I have in MW2 keeps it from disconnecting, however if I’m on the game for a more than an hour, it cuts in and out. Which doesn’t make any sense, and I can’t figure out how to fix that.

I cannot, however, use it in Xbox chat. As soon as I connect to the party chat, I will have about 10 minutes of game and chat audio, then the game chat immediately cuts out. And that’s on both games.

I’m still able to hear my team when that happens, but the game is completely muted.

All in all, doesn’t fully work, but it helps. I would avoid party chat if you can.

For Me it happened right as i tried to change privacy settings on my xbox one. When I did it signed me out. I figured out that when not connected to the internet I can log in on my xbox but right as it connects I get logged out.
