    When I plug my headset in I can hear audio, but I can’t talk or hear other players talk

    I'm very sorry for what you're going through, make sure the microphone is connected to the computer. Select Start > Settings > system > sound. In Sound Settings, go to Input and under Test Microphone, look for the blue bar that rises and falls as you speak into the microphone. If the bar moves, the microphone is working correctly.

    Xbox Wireless Headset Mic Monitoring Buzzing Noise

    Turn off ‘mic monitoring’. Just turned on my own headset and had the same issue. When I turned off ‘mic monitoring’ the buzzing went away immediately. Seems like a bug that needs to be fixed, but a work-around at the moment at least.
    The only issue with that is the seal these headphones create, once they’re on you can’t hear a thing, don’t need the aggro from the wife when I’m screaming orders in the middle of war while playing BFV. 🤣🤣

    Same!! I thought mine was busted. This just started happening within the last hour for me and I can’t stand that static. Have to turn off the mic monitoring which obviously isn’t something I want to do. There has to be a fix outside of returning the things.
