I can't download this game onto my Xbox one

I have this game onto my Xbox 360 and can play it perfectly. I get on and it says it is backwards compatible and to play it on Xbox one. However, for some reason I can't download it on my Xbox one. It keeps telling me to purchase when I already had it downloaded
on my Xbox. I am aware of what a trial version is, but the game is actually full version with achievements. I got it from the monthly gold program.

I have the Problem, that I can't Download my Xbox 360 Profile onto my Xbox One with the backwards compatible Games!

Hi I purchased a game Onigiri on Xbox.com to download onto my partners Xbox One but it hasnt downloaded and can't find it when i search through Games on his Xbox one

 

You should see the game available in the account that purchased this if its a digital download (ready to install), or you need to put the disc in to download the BC Xbox One version.

As I said, I got it from the monthly gold program. I got achievement a from it and can play on my Xbox 360 no problem. It just doesn't show up on my Xbox one though

Like DIPDIP0TAT0CH1P mentioned, if the account you are posting from obtained the license for the game in question, it should automatically appear in your "Ready to Install" section of your Xbox One. You can doublecheck the games you own using your
My Games page to see if BattleBlock Theater shows up there. You can also check to see if you can find the purchase/acquisition in your
Microsoft Commerce account.

If you find it in either, can you please provide us with a screenshot that has your Gamertag on the page as well? That'll help us out hugely.

Have you tried a hard reset? It might refresh the licenses. Try going to the game page and looking for an install button as well.
