    I can’t download things on Microsoft Edge using my Xbox One S.


    Hey, I found this problem when trying to install Minecraft mods, when I try to install something through Edge, it says “Downloads are not supported on this device.”

    This never happened to me before, I even have a few mods already.

    I can’t download things on Microsoft Edge using my Xbox One S.

    There was an update a while back that removed the ability to download anything from Edge on the console. There's no way around that.

    Also, Minecraft on the console does not support mods so you can be banned for using those.

    You can't download Chrome on Xbox One, the only browser you can use is Microsoft Edge.

    As my colleague mentioned above. It is not possible to use Edge to download via Xbox. You must use the Microsoft Store and Minecraft Marketplace to download additional content.
