I can't download the new Minecraft game

I redeemed a code on my Xbox for the new Minecraft game a couple months ago before it came out and now it isn't showing that I own it and it says I still have to pay for it. When I redeemed the code the game popped up on the Xbox
and it said not available yet so I figured that when it became available I would be able to download it and it would be fine but it isn't working out that way. Is there anything I can do about it or am I going to have to buy it again. I really can't afford
that though. Please tell me there is something I can do. Thank you for your help.

Won't let me have my free game

So, I get on Minecraft and it told me that I get the newest version of Minecraft, "Minecraft" because I own the digital copy and have played over 10 hours within the past year. I tried to download it and it says that I can't

I tried the virtual helper but it was no help at all and when I got to the talk to a person option it didn't do anything. Any other ideas?

 

I changed my gamer tag 2 days ago. Could that have anything to do with it?
