I cant download from Game pass on my pc

When i try to install anygame of the store it instantly appears an error pop up telling me about i should actívate Windows defender, when i try to actívate Windows defender it says "Acces denied" (it is obvious for me to say that i have administrator permission)
so i dont know what to do as i tried so many things to fix it without succes.

Hey guys, cant seem to find a thread with the question i have. I Have the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and i play games on both my PC and Xbox. For example, I started playing The Outer Worlds, which i installed on both my PC and Xbox. However, I cant accses my
saved game from the PC on my Xbox so id have to start a whole new game.

Question:

Is there a way to access my saved game data from my PC and download, play it and have it sync across both platforms?

I've got the same issue, but I cant even launch any games. I have game pass and at the top of the Xbox app, there's a link that redirects me to download an optional update for windows. But, on my pc I have no download optional updates in my settings so I can play the game pass I just paid for.

Thank you, everything works perfectly fine now. I used both the first and second step before checking whether it fixed it so I dont know which of the two fixed it but it worked so thanks.

I'm Anirban and I'll be happy to help you today.

Try these steps and see how it goes:

1. Clear the cache of the Xbox Game Pass app, press the "Windows + R" keys and type in

"%localappdata%\Packages\Microsoft.GamingApp_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache".

This will take you to the Xbox Game Pass cache folder. Delete all the files in the folder.

2. Reset the Xbox Game Pass app, go to the Start menu, find the Xbox Game Pass app, right-click it, and select "App settings." Scroll down and click on the "Reset" button to reset the app to its default settings.

3. Press Windows Key + R to open Run and type "wsreset.exe" and then click on ok. After that restart your device and check for updates.
