I can't download Battlefield 2042 on the Xbox Game Pass for pc

the trail gives an error to try again later for the last 4 days

Can you please download the game directly on EA Desktop App?

1. Open the EA app on your PC

2. Navigate to My Collection and select Battlefield 2042, or alternatively search for Battlefield 2042

3. Select the Download button

Only the 10 hour trial is in ea play, so what would be the point in downloading the game, if your going to purchase the game then you would need to purchase via ea or steam anyway as the game is not on the windows store.

No, you can't...at least you won't be able to buy it via the MS Store or play it via the MS Store as that platform only allows consoles.
