I can't download anything through EA Play after connecting Game Pass.

In order to access EA or Ubisoft games on Game Pass you must download EA play or UbiSoft connect. They manage their own games on PC. You must connect your accounts to those developers so that they will know that you have access to these games through Game Pass

The linking system of the accounts it's not made by Xbox, this is on EA servers, ideally when you link an account with your other accounts you should not use an account that you won't keep using to avoid this

This is true, but it's also the issue.

Since EA titles on Xbox Game Pass rely on EA's service and servers to link, several users simply can't connect because EA has inferior solutions and a poor system when it comes to account management. I and others can't ever play EA titles without making a brand new Xbox account with no prior EA account affiliation and then link, technically for the first time with new accounts on both ends.

As I mentioned above, this is because several users such as I likely had an old account connected with EA in some sort, and now, it can't be re-linked even if the account no longer exists, as EA only allows a single link with an account through its existence, regardless of if it exists, is linked or not, etc.

Disregarding all that. What I am more curious about at this point, almost a year after trying to figure this out, I wonder if Xbox Game Pass actually pays EA for its services and games appearing on Xbox Game Pass, or if they only get paid per download and playtime of each game?

Because at this point, it really feels like typical EA-mediocrity is ruining a pretty great service, which is Xbox Game Pass.

This could also be solved by not forcing users to connect or link with EA to play their games, but that doesn't sound like an "EA option".

I just hope Microsoft Xbox and the team from Game Pass are aware of this issue, and I'm sure they have access to statistics within their application confirming that their users in mass, can't ever access EA titles.
